Rail+Metro Asia 2023 is organized by the Council for the Promotion of International Trade Shanghai (CCPIT-Shanghai) and has received support from the Indonesian Ministry of Transport, the Indonesian Ministry of Industry, Intelligent Transport Systems Indonesia (ITS Indonesia), and the China Local Railway Association. It’s co-organized by the Indonesia Transportation Society (MTI) and Shanghai Transport Trade Association, and is hosted by the Shanghai INTEX Exhibition Co., Ltd.

Asia International Railway and Urban Rail Transit Summit

Since we started announcing the agenda for the Rail+Metro Asia Summit in July, professionals in the domestic and international railway and urban rail transit industry have been paying attention and showing strong participation interest. After conducting extensive communication and research with the local market and participants, Rail+Metro Asia, in cooperation with the top Indonesian industry association, Indonesia Transportation Society (MTI), has added a half-day forum on the morning of October 20th based on the full-day summit forum on October 19th. Over 30 representatives from international organizations, government officials, project owners and companies at home and abroad will gather to share the latest research results, experiences, and ideas, and jointly promote the progress and development of the railway rail industry.

In order to encourage outstanding suppliers and brands in the Asian railway and urban rail transit industry to penetrate deeper into the Asian market, establish broader and higher brand influence and international market recognition, and empower industry enterprises to connect with strong resources. Rail+Metro Asia 2023 has set up an Asian International Railway and Urban Track Transit Summit Exhibition Area, covering rail vehicle and locomotive parts, vehicle exhibition facilities and operation and maintenance, infrastructure construction and support, communication signals and informatization, power supply electric systems and engineering equipment. To further shorten the distance between exhibitors and professional visitors, the organizer will hold the ‘Rail Metro Asia 2023 Business Matchmaking Session’ during the summit. The event runs throughout the entire exhibition period. Buyers, owners, and construction units in the railway and urban rail transit industries from Asian countries such as Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Laos, Vietnam, and the Philippines will participate in the business marchmaking session.

During the Rail+Metro, the organizers will assemble a business delegation, with a focus on Indonesia’s railway and urban rail transit market.
