The China Local Railway Association was established in 1984, and is responsible for the management of the local railway industry in China. It prepares medium to long-term development plans for local railways, coordinates the joint construction and operation of lines between the national and municipal railway companies, and carries out technical consulting work. The association has more than 200 railway industry members, involved in rail investment, construction, management, equipment production, and other areas.


The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Shanghai is a trade and investment institution backed by the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government that promotes international exchange and cooperation.
