The China Local Railway Association was established in 1984, and is responsible for the management of the local railway industry in China. It prepares medium to long-term development plans for local railways, coordinates the joint construction and operation of lines between the national and municipal railway companies, and carries out technical consulting work. The association has more than 200 railway industry members, involved in rail investment, construction, management, equipment production, and other areas.

The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Shanghai is a trade and investment institution backed by the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government that promotes international exchange and cooperation. CCPIT Shanghai plays a unique role as a “non-governmental economic ambassador” in actively promoting the “bringing in” and “sending out” of trade and business exchange. Among many other activities, it undertakes, organizes and hosts various large-scale international exhibitions and conferences in China.

Shanghai Shentong Metro Group Co., Ltd. is the main body responsible for the construction, operation and financing of Shanghai’s urban rail transit. It includes five main business segments: subway construction, operation management, investment and financing, asset resource development, and technology research. 771 kilometers are in operation till the end of 2020, and its scale of operation ranks first in the world.

Founded in July 2016, Shanghai Intex Exhibition Co., Ltd was originally the exhibition organizing business of Intex Shanghai, a pioneering exhibition organizer established in 1995 and now independent of the Intex venue management business. Shanghai Intex is jointly overseen by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Shanghai and PNO Exhibition Investment (Dubai) Limited.

Starting in 1998, we have organized over 100 tradeshows and conferences with a sum total exhibition space in excess of 2 million square meters during this time. We have a number of internationally renowned exhibitions covering the creative industry, healthcare, lifestyle, advanced manufacturing and consumer electronics.
