Rail+Metro China 2018 (the 2018 China International Rail Transit Exhibition), produced by the Shanghai Shentong Metro Group and Shanghai Intex Exhibitions, is taking place at the Shanghai New International Expo Center from 7th to 9th November, 2018.
With the strong support of the China National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), the China Association of Metros (CAMET), and under the committed guidance of the China Academy of Transportation Sciences (CATS), the China Investment Promotion Agency (CIPA) and the Shanghai Municipal Transportation Commission, Rail+Metro China has established itself as one of the largest and most respected business-to-business platforms for trade, procurement and promotion in the inter-city and metropolitan rail transit industries in China and the Asia-Pacific.
Rail+Metro China 2017 attracted over 200 exhibiting companies from 16 countries and regions worldwide, spanning an area of 20,000sqm with 18,469 professional visitors attending the show. Domestic buyer delegations from at least 40 cities and regions participated, whilst overseas visitors attended from 33 countries; these included senior representatives from public transportation bodies, urban rail transit proprietors, design and planning institutes, research and consulting organizations, and colleges and universities to name a few.
Rail+Metro China 2018 will continue to build on its reputation and showcase the latest specialist products and technologies in its category areas of ‘Rail Vehicles & Components’, ‘Signaling, Communications & Information Technology’, ‘Traction Power Supply & Drive Devices’, ‘Maintenance & Repair Equipment’, ‘Planning & Consulting Services’, and ‘Infrastructure & Tunnel Engineering Facilities’. Academic conferences and professional industry workshops for which the show is well known will take place alongside the exhibition, with themes this year covering ‘Rail Transit Investment & Financing Models’, ‘Big-Data & Informationization’, ‘Operations & Management’, ‘Vibration & Noise Control’, and ‘Diversified Rail Transit Applications’.
